I work with young adults aged 18–35 who are dealing with anxiety, burnout, identity questions, and the particular pressure of being a person in 2026. No jargon. No clipboard. Just real conversations that actually help.
No scripts. No generic advice. Just honest conversation.

I'm an integrative therapist based in Leeds, and I work almost exclusively with people in their 20s and 30s. Not because I can't work with other people — but because this is the age group I understand deeply and where I do my best work.
I qualified in 2018 and have been working with young adults in NHS settings and private practice ever since. I specialise in anxiety, burnout, identity, and the particular pressure of navigating career, relationships, and your sense of self all at the same time.
My approach is integrative — I draw on different models depending on what's most useful for you, not because I'm trained in one thing and applying it to everything. I'm direct, I'm warm, and I'm not going to make you feel judged for anything you bring into the room.
Here are the things people most often bring to me. You don't need to fit a category — if something resonates, that's enough to reach out.
The kind that keeps you up at night, stops you making decisions, or makes your brain feel like a browser with 47 tabs open.
When you're doing everything "right" but running completely empty. Work, uni, social life, family — it's a lot.
Who am I? What do I actually want? Why do I always feel like I'm falling short? Big questions that therapy can genuinely help with.
Attachment anxiety, people pleasing, breakups, family stuff — how your past shapes your present in the people around you.
Therapy that actually understands how your brain works — not therapy designed for neurotypical people with some adjustments bolted on.
You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes you just want somewhere to think clearly — that's completely valid.
We chat. No pressure. You ask me anything. We see if it feels right.
If the call felt good, we book in. First session is just getting to know each other.
Weekly or fortnightly — whatever works for your life and budget.
Real change, not just feeling slightly better for 48 hours after a session.
I believe good therapy should be accessible. Here's exactly what things cost.
"I put off therapy for years because I thought it would be weird and formal. Zara is neither of those things. Best decision I've made."
"As someone with ADHD I've had some awful experiences with therapists who clearly didn't get it. Zara genuinely does. The difference is huge."
"I was burnt out to the point of not functioning. Six months later I'm actually enjoying my life again. I can't recommend her enough."
Fill in the form and I'll reply within one working day to sort your free intro call. There's zero pressure — it's just a chat to see if we're a good fit.
